The recession in this nation is still hitting hard, and i think MTN is the latest victim. Goodybag social bundles which have been sustaining a lot of us might now be a torn in the flesh, as MTN has drastically increased the price.
The price increment affected all Goodybag plans, such as the WhatsApp bundle, Facebook bundle, 2go bundle etc.
OLD GOODYBAG BUNDLE PRICE
I'm sure you all know that WhatsApp, Fb, 2go, eskimi etc bundles all have the same prices. So here's the old price:
- Weekly Bundle = #25 naira
- Monthly Bundle = #60 naira
NEW INCREASED GOODYBAG PRICE
The above screengrab shows the new price of our beloved WhatsApp, Facebook, 2go etc bundle
- Daily is now #25 naira, which was formerly ment for weekly
- The new Weekly price is now #60 naira
- Monthly mtn Goodybag price is now #150 naira😬
This is costly cheap! However, I'm also here with an alternative which you might find more valuable!
Since the new Goodybag plans (either WhatsApp, Facebook or Twitter, etc) are now #150 per month and it's meant for only 1 social media (maybe you choose WhatsApp). Why not use Airtel 1GB for N300 social bundle which works on all social network apps; be it Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, eskimi etc and it also works on operamini browser - downloading files below 15mb! Valid for a month.
